  • The Third International Philosophical and Cultural Symposium: 'Metaphilosophy — or Philosophical Reflection in the Space of Traditions and Innovations' took place within the framework of the First All-Russian Philosophical Congress. (June 10-12, 1997). (take a look)
  • The Second International Philosophical and Cultural Symposium: 'Reflections on Chaos' was prepared and conducted. (April 17-20, 1997, St. Petersburg ).
  • A cycle of philosophical-religious talks: 'The Space of Meaning, or the Shelter of the Absurd? Ontology of the Sacred and the Phenomenology of the Mysterious' (October 1996, Old Ladoga, Chuch of St.John the Baptist) were held.
  • A continuous research project for the International Philosophical and Cultural Praxis: 'Philosophical, Artistic, and Religious Experience: Problems of Possible Unity' (Grant RGNF, 1996-1998) was worked out and is being successfully fulfilled.
  • With the assistance of the German Cultural Goethe-Center and the Russian Fund for the Humanities, the International Philosophical and Cultural symposium 'In the Labyrinths of Culture' was prepared and conducted. (May 31-June 3, 1996).
  • Together with the Hanover Institute of Philosophy (Germany), the conference 'Philosophy. Gnosis. Theology' was conducted. (November 16-18, 1995, St. Petersburg ).
  • A number of international seminars devoted to the examination of the Gnostic tradition in culture and philosophy was prepared and conducted.
  • The international research program 'Philosophy — Gnosis — Theology: Comparative Analysis of European and Russian Traditions of Interaction' was worked out.
  • Following the initiative of the Ambassador Program, a professional research and discussion meeting 'Philosopher and Philosophy within the Framework of Social and Political Transformations: University Experience' took place, the participants being the Department Heads of philosophical, social, and political spheres from 25 European and American universities. (October 9-11, 1995).
  • The Second International Conference on Philosophy and Culture 'Paradigms of Philosophising' (August 10-15, 1995). About 200 people from more than 25 countries took part at the Conference, including such outstanding thinkers as Paul Ricoeur, Karl-Otto Apel, Stephen Moravsky, Joseph Margolis, Sergei Horuzhy, and others.   • The first issue of Petersburg Readings in the Theory, History, and Philosophy of Culture: 'Metaphysics of Petersburg' was published, with the assistance of the Committee of Culture of St. Petersburg ’s Mayor. (St. Petersburg , 1993).
  • A number of round tables and creative meetings, devoted to the phenomenon of St. Petersburg in the history of Russian and world culture was conducted.
  • The First International Conference on Philosophy and Culture 'Language and Text: Ontology and Reflection' (August 17-21, 1992) took place; over 100 scholars, representing different spheres of research in the Humanities, including guests from the universities in Canada, Switzerland, Poland, Bulgaria and the USA, took part in the conference. One of the issues of the thematic magazine 'Silentium' comprised the conference materials.
